Our Approach
How Senova structures a reading programme
Every Senova programme follows the same underlying structure: a reading circulated before the session, a facilitated discussion that opens from the text, and a set of physical materials the participant keeps. The discussion is not scripted — it follows what the reading surfaces in the room. Facilitators are trained to hold the space, not to steer conclusions.
Cohorts are kept small by design: eight to twelve participants for workshops, twelve for the evening series. Sizes are not expanded when demand is high. A second cohort is scheduled instead. This is the most meaningful quality guarantee Senova can make — that your experience will not be diluted by a larger group than the format can hold.
Reading circulated
Sent to all cohort members before the session date.
Session opens
Discussion begins from the text, not a slide deck.
Materials handed out
Journals, cards, or binder materials as appropriate to the programme.
Cohort feedback
Written reflections collected; inform next cohort's materials.
Programme 01 · Four Months · Ages 42–55
Mid-Life Financial Reflection Reading Circle
A four-month reflection-led reading circle for adults aged 42 to 55 who want to take a calm, considered look at the household money patterns of their working years — recurring habits, household conversation rhythms, and the small structures that have formed around income, savings and household decisions. The circle is reflection-led: each session opens with a short reading and continues with structured small-group discussion.
- Clothbound reflection journal
- Monthly worksheet cards (four sets)
- Peer discussion notebook
- Four monthly sessions, two hours each
- Educational only — no advice offered
Programme 02 · Weekend · Ages 40+
Saving Habits Reading Workshop
A weekend reading workshop for adults aged 40 and above on the language and frameworks of household saving habits — the rhythms of weekly statement review, the structure of household saving goals, and the conversational habits that keep saving topics open within the household. Participants work through a structured workbook of reflection exercises across the two days. Educational in scope; no advice or product recommendations offered. Cohort size of eight to twelve.
- Printed reflection workbook
- Household ledger template
- Access to a small peer reflection circle
- Two full days (Saturday & Sunday)
- Cohort of 8 to 12 participants
Programme 03 · Six Evenings · Ages 50–62
Retirement Income Mapping Reading Series
A six-session evening reading series that introduces adults aged 50 to 62 to the vocabulary and frameworks used in retirement income mapping in Singapore — the components of CPF Life payouts, the SRS framework, the public-sector annuity landscape, and the standard household income mapping documentation. The series is reading-led: a chapter is sent in advance of each weekly session, and the cohort meets in a small group of twelve to discuss the reading. Educational in nature; not advisory.
- Clothbound reading binder
- Weekly glossary cards (six sets)
- Private cohort summary newsletter after each session
- Six weekly Tuesday evenings (7:00–9:00 pm)
- Cohort of twelve
